CE 114 involves in-class review and discussion of selected case studies in civil and environmental engineering design, selected from among the following:

Controlling Natural Forces at Morro Bay
Alignment of the State Water Project
Expanding the Municipal Pier at Pismo Beach
Designing a Bicycle Path Beside the Railroad
A Pedestrian Mall for San Luis Obispo
Bridging the Railroad Tracks
A Subdivision Layout Problem
