Fellow Life Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), accredited researcher of the Mineta Transportation Institute (MTI), member of American Planners Association (APA) and Swiss professional organizations.

2010: -Ongoing planning for “Chorro Valley City-to-Sea Trail”, a twelve mile bicycle and pedestrian facility between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay promoted by                 politicians and the public

        -Ongoing research for Mineta Transportation Institute about “Integration of Bicycles, Pedestrians

          and Transit into the Infrastructure of Urban Communities” (co-author with Prof. C. Nuworsoo)

2009: -Research report for Leonhard Transportation Center, CA “Providing Senior Citizen Mobility” with 400 interviews of seniors in SLO County about their mobility          preferences and views of public transit with proposals (co-author with Prof. C. Nuworsoo)

        -Speaker at Chi Epsilon student honor society, Pacific District Conference

2007-2008: Works of Classes CE 424/527 and senior projects, mostly with public exhibitions:

         - 2008: Enhancement of  SLO RTA Bus Route 12A to Cuesta College with surveys and proposals

                   for speeding up the bus and hints about Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)

         - 2007: - Planning public transit between Cal Poly and SLO Airport including BRT

                     - Synthesis of five students’ senior projects about BRT and Rail projects in SLO County

·         Expert for UNDP in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and inCyprus, total two years

·         Over twenty master plans of transportation

·         Policies and design for parking, preferential treatment of public transport, car-free zones, traffic calming,  mobility sharing zones, TDM and reduction of air and noise pollution

·         Above work done mostly in Zurich, Lucerne, Berne, Basle,  Bregenz (Austria), Lodz and Zabce (Poland), Dubai and Abu Dhabi (UAE) as well as Nicosia (Cyprus)
